I’ve been drinking this sugar free lemonade all summer long and it literally takes 5 minutes to make. Plus it packs in some truly intense flavor - it’s all about the zest.
Sometimes I double or triple the recipe and shake it up in a quart size mason jar with 2 or 3 lemons, tons of ice, and stevia. Of course you can substitute and sweeten however you like. That’s it.
5 Minute Lemonade
Gluten Free, Vegan, Sugar Free
1 lemon with it’s zest
First, zest your lemon while it’s whole into a large glass.
Next, cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice from both sides into your glass using a hand press if you have one. If not just squeeze the juice through any strainer you have and make sure the seeds don’t get through.
Fill the glass with ice and cold filtered water. Sweeten with several drops of stevia and stir vigorously.
* I use a whole dropper full of stevia because it takes a good amount to balance out the acid of the lemon.
